Some images from Maine

This past weekend I took the trip across the country to visit my homeland and my family.

It was my stepfather’s memorial party, which brought in dozens of his friends from various periods of his life. It was a fantastic experience, albeit a cathartic and resolute one. I came to many new thoughts and feelings about a person I knew only through my own angle. When not engaged in the party, I was walking around the house taking pictures with my old camera and new camera lens, which I am still exploring and understanding. Below are some examples.
