Comprehensive Lit Events by way of Seattle Lit (seattlelit.com)

From an email I just sent out, like 20 seconds ago:

The ambitious Kirsten Thorspear has recently (I think recently) released this new literary events “aggregator” called Seattle Lit: http://seattlelit.com/

In addition to being able to browse all the major and most of the minor literary events in town, you can submit an event. It uses a fancy geo-locator, which I’ve not seen before, and lets you put in an HTML-based description for the event, which is awesome. I’m very excited for this. It will make Seattle, the small town in the mist, seem even smaller, and less misty. But that’s a good thing in this case, where lit events are information and information is potential knowledge and potential knowledge is potentially kinetic and I liked Bill Nye the Science Guy when I was growing up, before I had my first beer.

Anyway, bookmark it. Add it to your RSS (if it works–it’s still not working in my feed reader), and get ready to be even more informed than you thought you were, you sucker.
