My friend’s Joe’s a hip-hop engineer and independent producer in Philly. He goes by JoeLogic, and you can find him on SoundCloud pretty easily.
I’ve always loved Joe’s work ethic and I kind of see his passion with music running parallel with my work in poetry. Earlier this year he created an album of original material for a youth athletic program called “We Run Philly”:
More recently he’s been doing collaborations with an emcee who goes by Chill Moody. The latest video for the latest release, Suicide Barz II, is chilling and fits the Philly mold all too well:
