A new live recording available from a 5/15/26 performance.
I’m excited to announce Abundance is now available to listen. This 31 minute performance is available in two forms: a clearer H6 recording and a harsher (but arguably more textural) pocket recording. Judge for yourself on Bandcamp.
The performance was setup by me (as Talus Field) and Isaac Smith (as School of Choice). Guest poets Alex Lynch and Sarah Rooney joined and their poems can be heard on both tracks.
One of the more interesting qualities of this performance includes a large pipe/tube that appeared to be leftover radio tower infrastructure, and alongside the bluetooth speaker that was used served as conduit for the nearby AM/FM radio tower. Manipulating sound outside and inside the structure was key; additionally, all manner of percussion using the tube itself was a large component of the live performance from School of Thought.
