A double album random release: Three Ranges – Night and Three Ranges – Dawn.
Both albums were recorded live at the Wenatchee Guard Station in the Umatilla National Forest in Southeastern Washington. The first album is for my late friend Barnabus, and was recorded with Jason Stariwat featuring many found sounds and a ritualized love song approach. This was recorded in the middle of the night outdoors under the stars. The second album was recorded solo, at dawn the morning after. Both tracks utilize a new battery-powered audio setup (a travel setup) for performance and recording that I hope to use again.
