I’m excited to be part of my good friend Justine Chan’s momentous occassion: the book launch for her first collection, Should You Lose All Reason(s). It has been a long time coming and it will be good to celebrate! I will read some strange city poems in alignment with some of the city poems in Justine’s book. Common AREA Maintenance in Seattle: April 22, 2023, 7:00pm.
I’m excited to share the flier for the upcoming Super Position reading on March 11, 2023, at 7pm. It will be the second reading I’ve been involved in that streams across two venues, and the first of such that I will be reading my own work at. The two Seattle venues are Casa del Xolo (in Fremont) and Bulldog News (in the U District). I will be tangible at the latter.
The following poetry readings are happening over the next two months and are guranteed to break open the earth’s surface.
A brief announcement that there will be an “interactive happening featuring you” at Common AREA Maintenance (CAM) in Belltown, Seattle, on 2/10/23. The event will go from 6pm to 9pm. It will feature Eric Acosta, Amy Hirayama, Keegan O’Rourke, Whitney Bashaw, and myself, and will include interactive soundscapes, music, poetry, projections, and painting! See you there!

I’m excited to announce an event for the summer solstice: View.Point.2!
I’m excited to be hosting a new literary event in Seattle on 7/28/21. It’s called View.Point and will be at Mt. Baker Viewpoint Park. Details with performers and bios can be found on this page. The live stream will be at twitter.com/gregbem. Note that the account will be locked until the time of the performance. Updated start time: the performances will begin around 4:45pm Pacific Time.

Rainier Valley Lit Crawl #3 Join for the third iteration of the Rainier Valley Lit Crawl, which focuses on bringing writers and listeners to Southeast Seattle locations for another night of literary engagement. This lit crawl will include the following venues: Spinnaker Bay Brewing → Big Chickie → The Collaboratory → Union Bar. It will feature the following diverse literary artists: Paul E. From 1/17 to 1/23 there will be 7 literary events under the series name “Inumbrating Pinnacle.” There will be one Ghost Tokens event per night, each to occur at 9pm, all outdoors in the historic “heart of Seattle,” the Seattle Center, underneath the light and shadow of the Space Needle. Confronting the triumphs and tragedies, the plateaus and recesses of the city elevated, these free micro-events are intended to respond to the fast, urban experience.
