I have occasionally written for the Washington Library Association’s Alki magazine, which tends to center exciting topics. I have a new article available in the latest issue.
When I learned that their current issue was going to be on “indigenous librarianship” and that librarians coming from non-indigenous backgrounds could contribute, I was thrilled to share what we have been working on at my college.
The article is called “Centering Indigeneity: A Reflection of Library Efforts at Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech)” and you can read it here.
