February 20, 2025: Winter in America (Again featured on KPFK’s Bibliocracy
This is happening at 2:30pm. The third in a series of shows featuring a collection by poets responding to our political moment. Including contributions from a diverse group of over 100 poets, the newly published anthology Winter in America (Again: Poets Respond to 2024 Election, arrives from Carbonation Press thanks to the efforts of a team of eight editors and its publisher Greg Bem, a poet and librarian based in Spokane. Today, more edited highlights from two recent online celebratory book launch readings titled “Inauguration Alternatives” featuring work from terrific writers including the anthology’s editors.
