Foray for The Arts is a new performance series. It’s a project that local poet Sarah Rooney and I started in January.
Similar to my previous collaborative Seattle series The Breadline, Foray for the Arts focuses on creating Spokane arts events that are multidisciplinary in nature. Poetry, prose, music, performance art, dance, comedy, visual art, lecture. All of these and more will be pulled up through the community ether and positioned through Foray.
It’s a monthly series. The first event was on January 21st and featured Anthony Singleton, AP Marcus the Warrior, Jessie Vasquez, Kathryn Smith, Mark L. Anderson, and Madriea. The next event is on February 17th, details forthcoming.
